Burghley7

Burghley7 is a 7 Mile road race held on 28/02/2027 with start and finish at Burghley House in Stamford. The course runs on closed public roads and through private areas of the Burghley estate, including St Martins High Street and nearby villages, and passes local landmarks and countryside sections.

Entry requires advance registration; there are no on the day entries. The entry fee is £29.00 and includes a finisher medal, free event photos, chip timing, full road closures, advanced medical support, free parking and general event support. Race numbers with timing chips are posted to entrants at least a week before the event.

The main route is on tarmac and the finish line is on a small grass section. There is a bag drop at the start, toilets, mobile catering, free parking on the estate and a fully staffed medical treatment centre on site. Prize giving takes place at the finish line once podium places are decided.

Age and entry rules apply: runners must be 16 years old on the day. Headphone rules forbid in ear or over ear headphones while bone conducting devices are permitted. Buggies and dogs on leads are not allowed. Certain estate roads and the main visitor entrance are closed to general traffic for the duration of the event, and vehicles cannot move while the event is underway.
