Event Overview

The Burghley7 is a running event on Sunday, 1 March 2026, starting at 9:00 am. The course is a 7-mile route through Stamford and the Burghley estate. The start is at the Bottle Lodges Tudor gatehouse, and the finish is in front of Burghley House.

Course Details

The course features road closures, including on High Street St Martins, and provides access to public and private parkland within the Burghley estate. On-course hydration is provided via feed stations.

Participant Information

Entry costs £28.00. The minimum age to participate on race day is 17. Participants receive a personalised race pack with a number and timing chip mailed to them before the event. Runner-to-runner transfers are possible, and entries can also be transferred to the 2027 event, both subject to terms and conditions.

Event Support

The event offers free parking at the site. A comprehensive medical team provides support along the course. All finishers receive a bespoke medal.
