The course passes notable locations such as Burghley House, the Deer Park, River Welland, Bottle Lodges and parts of the Burghley walled gardens.
Entry details are provided in advance and race numbers with timing chips are sent to runners before the event. The published entry fee for the event is £28. Runners must be at least 16 years old on the day of the race. There are no on-the-day entries.
The event is delivered with full road closures, chip timing, advanced medical support and on-site event support. Entry includes a finisher medal and free event photos. Parking is available on the Burghley estate and free to runners; alternative parking in Stamford is used if parkland is too wet.
