Burghley7
Burghley7 is a seven mile road race held on 28/02/2027 with start and finish at Burghley House in Stamford. The route uses closed public roads and sections of the private Burghley estate and passes through St Martins High Street, local villages and surrounding countryside.
The entry fee is £28.00. Entry includes a finisher medal, free event photos, chip timing, full road closures, advanced medical support, free parking and event support. Race numbers and timing chips are sent to entrants prior to the event. Registration is by prior entry only; there are no on the day entries.
The course surface is mainly tarmac and may include damp sections. The finish is on a small grass area. On site facilities include parking, toilets, bag storage, a medical treatment centre and mobile catering. A bag drop is provided at the start line; items are left at the owner s risk.
Event rules include a minimum age of 16 on race day, a prohibition on in ear or over ear headphones with bone conducting devices permitted, and no participation with buggies or dogs on leads. Vehicle access to the event is controlled and some entrances close during the event. Prize giving takes place at the finish line after results are decided.
