Event Overview
The Bunnyman Fireworks event offers 5k and 10k race distances. It takes place on the Fourth of July weekend at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, Virginia. The start and finish are near Bunnyman Brewing.
Course Details
The course is paved with limited hills. The 5k is an out-and-back route. The 10k consists of two laps of the 5k course. There are multiple water stations along both courses, with some offering Gatorade. Restrooms are located near the Visitor Center.
Registration & Fees
Standard registration fees apply until June 15: $35 for the 5k and $50 for the 10k. Prices increase after that date and again on race morning. Race day registration is available. A virtual run option is also offered.
Included Amenities
Registered runners receive a technical event shirt, a finisher medal, one glass of beer or wine from Bunnyman Brewing, and chip timing. T-shirt designs are viewable in advance, and medal designs are posted online before the race.
Awards & Series
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top two in standard age groups. Race points count towards the organizer's Year-Long 5k, 10k, Back of the Pack, and Sippin Series.
Additional Information
The event benefits the Semper Fi & America’s Fund. Live results are posted online and accessible via QR code at the finish. Packet pickup is available on race day. The event follows a rain-or-shine weather policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
