Event overview
The Street Striders Shapwick Bunny Hop takes place on Easter Monday, 6 April 2026, with race headquarters at Shapwick Village Hall, Station Road, TA7 9NJ. The main event is a 7.5 mile multi-terrain loop across lanes, footpaths and Shapwick Heath. Entry is online only, limited to 150 runners, and the minimum age is 17 years (UKA rules). Numbers are collected at the HQ on race day and are non-transferable.
Course and race details
The course is a single 7.5 mile loop with mile markers, marshals at junctions, red flags marking the route and tape highlighting hazards. Runners should expect mud, uneven ground, stiles, fences and one marshalled road crossing at mile 5. Off-road trainers are recommended. Roads on parts of the route remain open; participants must keep left and follow marshal instructions. Headphones are not permitted and dogs are not allowed on the full course due to Nature Reserve restrictions.
