Bulldogs On The Run 5K & Bark
The Bulldogs On The Run 5K & Bark is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Orangeburg, SC 29115. The event includes two course options:
- 5K - 3.1 miles, downtown course
- Bark - 1.0 mile out-and-back along the outskirts of the 5K route
The event’s stated mission is to promote health and fitness while providing financial support to students attending South Carolina State University.
Registration, logistics and awards
Registration pricing varies by date, with the 5K priced from $40 to $55 depending on the registration window and the Bark priced from $30 to $45. A reduced rate of $25 applies for participants 21 and under for both events. Participants who register by October 5, 2026 will receive a t-shirt; 5K shirts are multi-blend and Bark shirts are cotton. 5K finishers receive a custom finisher medal.
All 5K entrants will be timed using RM Timing Systems in partnership with Simply Timing; disposable timing tags are distributed at packet pick up. Packet pick up is available on Friday, October 23 and on race day. A medical tent will be located at the finish line. The races are planned to run rain or shine unless conditions are deemed too dangerous; if canceled for weather there are no refunds. Bib transfers are permitted for a $15 fee through the registration site. Awards are given 1st through 3rd for male and female finishers and by age groups.
