Scandinavian Relay

The Scandinavian Relay is a 40(ish)-mile, 8-leg team relay through the towns named Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland in South Carolina. The course totals just over 40 miles with individual legs ranging from about 2 to 6 miles. Teams may include one to eight runners and may enter in several categories, including ULTRA (one runner), FULL (2-8 runners), MASTERS (2-8 runners, all age 40+), and a 7-8 runner social category.

Entry fees are tiered by team size: $80 for the first runner plus $40 for each additional runner. Team registration is handled by a captain who registers the team and pays the entry; each teammate then registers individually to select shirt size and sign a digital waiver. Captains receive a team code to share with teammates.

Packet pickup is generally the day before the race, with race-morning pickup allowed when necessary. Each team receives a support vehicle tag; only one vehicle per team is allowed on the course and at exchange zones due to limited parking. Most exchange zones have bathroom access. Teams provide their own food, water, and first aid. Teams should target an average pace under 12 minutes per mile to complete the course.

Start line location: Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School, 7066 Norway Road, Neeses, SC. Race proceeds are directed to Three Crosses Outreach. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
