Bucky's Boot Top Prohibition Trail Run

This trail run is part of the Southern Singletrack Race Series. It takes place on the "Boot Top Loop" at F. D. Roosevelt State Park in Pine Mountain, Georgia. The course is a 4.3-mile loop on rocky, rooty, and rolling singletrack trails. It passes scenic highlights including waterfalls, a memorial rock at a 1953 plane crash site, and "Elephant Rock."

The event offers three distances, each consisting of multiple loops of the same course:

  • 7K: 1 loop
  • 14K: 2 loops
  • 21K: 3 loops

The race is capped at 75 participants. Registration closes before the event and there is no race day registration. Parking requires a $5 fee per vehicle, not included in the entry fee. Georgia Annual State Park Passes are accepted.

There are two aid stations on the course providing water, electrolyte drink, and snacks. Runners are required to carry their own water bottle. Overall awards are given for male and female runners in each race distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
