Venue, facilities and terrain
The assembly, start and finish are close together within Buchan Country Park. Toilets and a café are near the assembly area. Organisers ask visitors not to use the park car park; alternative local parking requires a 10-15 minute walk to assembly. The park is wooded, separated by two lakes, with open and more complex woodland and some gradients. It is bounded by private land, a golf course and the A264.
Controls and map information
Loose control descriptions will be available in the start lane and on the map. All courses use IOF symbols; Yellow and Orange also include text descriptions. SportIdent punching will be used with SIAC enabled in the terrain; the start and finish controls will not be SIAC enabled so all competitors must "dib" at both start and finish. If a control fails, use the pin punch on the map and report it at Download. Apres-O refreshments include a cup of mulled wine or warm fruit juice and a mince pie for each finisher; no water will be provided at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
