Event Overview
The Bubble Run St. Louis 2026 is a recreational running event taking place at the Arsenal BG Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois. Participants wear white t-shirts and move through a course of approximately 3 miles (historically categorized as a 5k). The event is open to adults, children, and those using strollers, allowing participants to run, walk, dance, or play throughout the route.
The course features several Foam Bogs, each containing different colored foam designed to cover participants from head to toe. The foam used during the event is 100% safe. Volunteers, referred to as Bubble-teers, are positioned at these stations to assist with the distribution of the foam.
Course and Logistics
The event follows a wave start format to manage the flow of the crowd. Waves are released every 3 to 5 minutes. Within specific registration heats, smaller groups are sent out every 60 to 90 seconds on a first-come, first-served basis. The final wave for any given heat departs 30 minutes after the scheduled heat time.
- 5 km (approximately 3 miles)
The venue may charge a parking fee of up to $20, and participants are encouraged to carpool. On-site facilities include a store selling event merchandise such as t-shirts and tutus. Attendees are advised to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before their scheduled wave to account for parking, check-in, and the collection of event materials.
