Portland Bubble Run
The Bubble Run takes place at the Portland International Raceway. This event features a 5 km course designed for participants of all ages. Throughout the route, participants encounter multiple foam stations that distribute colored bubbles.
Participants can choose between different registration levels. A standard registration includes a race bib, a limited edition finisher medal, and access to a post-race bubble dance party. An upgraded option provides additional items such as a tour t-shirt, sunglasses, a bubble wand, a headband, and a drawstring bag. The event operates a program where registration purchases support the donation of entries to local community members and various charitable organizations.
The venue is located at 1940 N Victory Blvd in Portland. On-site parking is managed by the venue and typically requires a fee, often collected in cash. Packet pick-up is scheduled for the day before the event at the raceway. Those unable to collect their packets in advance may do so on the morning of the event for an additional per-person fee.
The event utilizes a wave system for the start to manage the flow of participants through the foam stations. Volunteers, referred to as bubble-teers, assist with the coordination of the activities from the sidelines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
