Bubble Run New York at Jones Beach State Park
Bubble Run is an event at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh, NY that features colored foam stations and a family friendly course of up to three miles. Participants wear white t-shirts and may run, walk, dance or use strollers along the route. The foam station areas are called Foam Bogs and each is filled with a different colored foam. The foam is described as 100 percent safe.
The event uses a heat and wave start structure. Waves begin every 3 to 5 minutes during initial releases; once a registered heat begins, small waves are released every 60 to 90 seconds and the last wave within a heat departs up to 30 minutes after the scheduled heat time. Organizers recommend arriving 30 to 45 minutes before a registered heat to allow time for parking, check in and collecting event items.
There may be a parking charge handled by the venue of up to $20. A Bubble Run store is available on site offering t-shirts, tutus and other merchandise; cash is suggested for purchases.
