The Bubble Run takes place at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh, New York. This untimed event features a course equipped with multiple foam stations where participants encounter colored bubbles throughout the distance. The event is designed for a broad audience, including families and groups, with a focused atmosphere on the post-race celebration.
Participants can choose between different registration tiers. The standard registration includes a race bib and a finisher medal. A VIP option is also available, providing additional items such as a t-shirt, sunglasses, a bubble wand, a headband, and a drawstring bag. Following the run, the venue hosts a bubble dance party for all participants.
On the day of the event, participants are released from the start line in small groups every 60 to 90 seconds. This process ensures a steady flow of runners and walkers through the foam stations. Check-in begins at the venue one hour before the first wave is scheduled to depart.
Logistics for the event include:
- Packet Pickup: Scheduled for the day before the race at the venue between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
- Race Day Pickup: Available on the morning of the event for a cash fee of $5.00 per participant.
- Parking: The venue may collect a parking fee of up to $20, which is typically cash only.
