Bubble Run - Lake Erie 2026
The Bubble Run is an outdoor event scheduled for August 2026 at the Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania. This non-traditional event focuses on a recreational atmosphere where participants navigate a course approximately 3 miles (equivalent to a 5 km) in length. The event is open to adults and children, and the course is accessible for strollers.
Participants are encouraged to wear white t-shirts as they move through the course by running, walking, or dancing. Along the route, there are several "Foam Bogs," each featuring a different color of foam. These bogs are designed to cover participants in 100% safe, colored foam from head to toe. Staff members, referred to as Bubble-teers, are positioned throughout the course to assist with the foam distribution and ensure a consistent experience for all attendees.
The event structure utilizes a wave start system to manage the flow of participants. Within each registered heat, small groups are released every 60 to 90 seconds on a first-come, first-served basis. The final wave for any specific heat departs approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled heat time.
Facilities at the Lake Erie Speedway include the Bubble RUN store, which provides various merchandise such as t-shirts and tutus. Parking is available on-site, and the venue may implement a parking fee of up to $20. Registrations are offered in categories including Value and VIP options.
