Bubba's Backyard Ultra

Bubba's Backyard Ultra takes place on October 3, 2026 in Center Conway, New Hampshire, at 564 Stark Rd. This is the eighth edition of the event. Registration is open to participants of all ages and abilities.

The race uses a looped trail course of about 3.5 miles per lap. The route is mostly forest singletrack with short sections of snowmobile trail, fields, and logging roads. Each lap includes roughly 250 feet of elevation gain. A minimal aid station is located about midway through the loop.

The format is last person standing. Each participant must complete a lap within an hour and return to the starting area before the next lap begins. The event ends when only one person remains in the starting area and that person completes their final lap.

Camping is available the night before. The schedule includes Saturday sandwiches for lunch and burgers with a bonfire Saturday evening. Event swag and swag bags will be provided and awards will be given across multiple categories. The entry fee is $175. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
