2026 Twin Cities BT5K
The Twin Cities BT5K is a community 5K run and walk held on October 3, 2026 at Como Regional Park in St. Paul, Minnesota. The event supports the American Brain Tumor Association and raises funds for research, patient programs, and caregiver services.
Registration categories include adult (13 and older), child (12 and under), a canine registration, and virtual participation. Fees listed are $45 for adult in person, $25 for child in person, $15 for a canine, and $50 (adult) / $30 (child) for virtual registration. In-person participants receive a performance BT5K shirt and a finishers medal. Virtual participants receive the same items by mail; virtual registrations note an additional $5 shipping fee and race packets are mailed starting four weeks before the event. The organizer notes that mailed packets cannot be guaranteed for registrations submitted fewer than 14 days before the event. In-person attendees may pick up race packets on event day.
Parking is available at West Como Lot 56 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, with shuttle service to the event site and estimated wait times of five to fifteen minutes. The event includes post-race food, beer, and music at the main site. Fundraising is a core part of the event; the campaign shows $89.7K raised toward a $200,000 goal, and the ABTA reports funding more than $37 million in research grants and over $1.5 million raised by the BT5K series in 2024.
