About the race
The 2026 Twin Cities BT5K is a fundraising run and walk on October 3, 2026 at Como Regional Park in St. Paul, Minnesota. The event supports the American Brain Tumor Association and its patient and caregiver programs.
Registration options and typical inclusions are:
- Adult (13 and older) $45 includes a performance shirt and finishers medal.
- Child (12 and under) $25 includes a performance shirt and finishers medal.
- Virtual Adult $50 and Virtual Child $30 include shirt and medal mailed to the participant; virtual packets are mailed starting four weeks before the event and may not arrive in time for registrations made less than 14 days before the event.
- Canine registration $15 includes a special wearable for dogs.
Parking is available at West Como/Lot 56 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, with shuttle service and estimated wait times of about 5 to 15 minutes.
The campaign page shows progress toward a $200,000 goal, with $56,700 raised to date. The ABTA notes it has funded more than $37 million in research and that the BT5K series contributes to fundraising and awareness; the series raised over $1.5 million in 2024.
After the 5K there is a main event area with food, beer, music, and community gathering. In-person participants can pick up packets on Race Day. All attendees will have the opportunity to fundraise for the ABTA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
