Event overview
The Labilladiere Peninsula trail run on Bruny Island is scheduled for 20th September 2026. The course distance is 17.6 km. The entry fee is $70 per person. The event has an entry cap and on-site registration at the event is required.
Course and logistics
The route is a clockwise return loop that starts and finishes at the Jetty Beach campground. The outward section follows a 4WD track along the western side of the peninsula with views toward the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and the Southern ranges. The lower section passes Butlers Beach with a view of Partridge Island, then continues on a single-track along the eastern side back to Jetty Beach. Jetty Beach includes a campground for participants who wish to stay overnight. Nearby coastal activities include surfing, snorkelling, sea kayaking and several other walks. Ferry services operate between Kettering and Bruny with departures from early morning and then at roughly 20-minute intervals into the evening.
