Dover Fun Run - Tassal Ten Fun Run
The Dover Fun Run is a community running event in Far South Tasmania scheduled for 1 November 2026. The event raises funds for the Royal Hobart’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and has raised $123,179.96 since 2019. The main routes run along the foreshore of Port Esperance and include views of the bay and Adamsons Peak.
The program includes several distances and formats:
- 21 km Dover Half Marathon along the coast with notable elevation
- 10 km Tassal Ten Fun Run supported by Tassal, for ages 12 and over
- 5 km community run or walk open to all participants
- 2 km Annabelle's Run on a closed-road course for children 10 and younger
- Virtual Run option to participate from anywhere
Sponsors named for the event include Tassal, Southern Myotherapy and Bendigo Bank. The 2 km event is described as a family focused, closed-road course intended for young children.
