BRRC Summer Track Series #2
The Baltimore Road Runners Club presents a stop in its 2026 Summer Track Series at Calvert Hall College High School with additional meets hosted at Maryvale Preparatory School. The series is intended as developmental track meets focused on participation, skill development, and competition experience.
Registration takes place at the track and requires signed waivers. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian permission. The meets are free and open to all runners; voluntary donations support the Charlie Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Venues and parking:
- Calvert Hall College High School, La Salle Road in Towson, MD; track entrance and parking on the Putty Hill Avenue side of the school.
- Maryvale Preparatory School, Falls Road in Lutherville, MD; parking on the Falls Road side.
Events offered include age-group races for very young children plus a range of youth and adult track events. Distances and formats vary by meet and may include relays and a tetrathlon competition that requires completion of four specific events to qualify.
Weather and air quality policy: organizers monitor heat index and air quality and may delay or cancel meets for participant safety. A published heat index of 95 and specified AQI cutoffs are used as guidance for changes to the schedule. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
