BRRC Summer Track Series - Meet #2 (June dates in 2026)
The Baltimore Road Runners Club sponsors an annual Summer Track Series held at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson. The series includes multiple Wednesday meets in June and early July, with one reserved date for potential makeup. Hosts provide the track facility and parking access on the Putty Hill Avenue side of the school.
Meets are organized as developmental track competitions intended to give athletes experience in specific events. Entry is free and open to all runners. Donations are accepted and will support the Charlie Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Fund. Registration at the track requires signing waivers, and participants under 18 must have parental or guardian permission.
The program includes special events for young children: Tots and Toddlers for ages 5 and under, and Junior Sprinters for ages 6-8 and 9-12. Young participants receive treats and recognition for perfect attendance, with a special award at the final meet.
Organizers note that summer weather and air quality can affect scheduled meets. The club uses a heat index threshold of 100 as the metric to consider cancellations or changes.
