BRRC Summer Track Series
The Baltimore Road Runners Club sponsors its annual Summer Track Series at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, MD. The series consists of weekly track meets on June 10, June 17, June 24, and July 1, with Wednesday July 15 reserved as a potential make-up date. Calvert Hall is hosting each meet.
Registration and basic procedures take place at the track and include signing waivers; participants under age 18 need parental or guardian permission. The meets are described as developmental track meets intended to give athletes experience competing in specific events.
The series is free and open to all runners. Donations are accepted and will contribute to the Charlie Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Fund. The program includes special events for Tots and Toddlers (ages 5 and under) and Junior Sprinters (ages 6–8 and 9–12), plus treats and perfect-attendance recognition with a special award at the final meet.
Track entrance and parking are on the Putty Hill Avenue side of the school. Summer weather can affect meet status; the club uses a heat index threshold of 100 to guide cancellations and posts updates on social media and the club channels when schedule changes occur.
