BRRC GPS Cross Country 5K
The BRRC GPS Cross Country 5K is scheduled for November 15, 2026 at Herring Run Park in Baltimore. The event is a 5 kilometer cross country race run on a course that differs from the local high schools course.
The route includes a mix of paved sections, open field running and technical single track. The course crosses the river twice and passes through wooded sections. The race begins with a cross country style mass start that allows field running to spread participants.
The event is free to enter. Donations are accepted for the scholarship fund for college freshmen or for the Friends of Herring Run Parks. Parking is available along Belair Road or Chesterfield Road; the start is near the muraled shed on the Chesterfield side, upstream of the Herring Run Bridge.
