Brownville Freedom Run
The Brownville Freedom Run is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Brownville, Nebraska at the corner of East Main Street and Highway 136. The event coincides with America's 250th birthday and is presented as the 23rd annual edition.

Organizers state the event has attracted runners and walkers from across the USA and that the goal is to provide a safe, professionally managed event for participants of varying abilities. Course logistics reference water stations, snacks, and restrooms being provided as in the previous year. Each participant receives a medal upon race completion.
