Brough Law Fell Race
Brough Law is a Category AS fell race held on the hills near Ingram in Northumberland. The course covers 8 km / 5 miles and involves significant ascent; published climb values vary but the race is a hill event requiring appropriate preparation. The venue is Bulby’s Wood car park, Ingram, grid reference NU007163. Toilets are available at the car park.
Entry is on the day only with a fee of £5. There is no pre-entry and teams are not permitted. The event is included in the North East Fell Running Championship and the race carries a permit with associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.
Competitors must bring a completed entry form and their own safety pins. Depending on conditions on the day, all competitors should be prepared to carry full body waterproof cover, hat, gloves, compass, map and whistle. Dogs are not permitted.
Prizes are awarded to the first three men and first three women, with additional spot prizes. All competitors should read the FRA Requirements for Runners document. The minimum age for entry is 16. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
