Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K Run/Walk
The Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K is a community run/walk presented by Maimonides Health and held in Prospect Park, New York. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the event date; capacity is limited and same-day registration is not available.
Packet pickup is offered in advance at Brooklyn Running Company, 480 Bergen Street in Park Slope, on Thursday (6/11) and Friday (6/12) from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Race day packet pickup is available at the event site in the Bartel-Pritchard Lot starting at 8:30 am. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance may receive a personalized bib with race number, name, and pronouns.
Every participant receives a specially designed Brooklyn Pride Run t-shirt and a custom engraved finisher’s medal. The event provides a bag drop, portable facilities, post-race water provided by smartwater, and snacks. Live online, email, and text results are available, along with free video and same-day finish line photos.
Awards recognize top finishers in each gender category, including Top 3 female/male/non-binary overall and top age-group finishers in the categories 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The event does not allow dogs; participants with strollers are asked to start at the back of the field. Refunds and bib transfers are not provided, though entries can be converted into a donation to Brooklyn Pride, Inc. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
