Event overview
The Brooklyn Mother's Day race takes place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY (Parade Pl. and Parkside Ave., 11226). The event includes the following races:

- 10K
- 5K
Registration for the events closes on May 8, 2026. Awards are given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers and the top 3 in age groups for male and female: 19 & under, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70+.
Course and amenities
All races use looped laps in Prospect Park: the half consists of 4 loops, the 10K of 2 loops, and the 5K of 1 loop. Every loop is timed with real-time splits and a final time. The meeting point and finish line are at the Greek Shelter (Peristyle) on the south side of Prospect Park off Parkside Avenue. The start is located a little over a tenth of a mile from that meeting point/finish line.
The loop includes 3 water stations, providing 12 water station visits along the course. Stations will offer water, power gels, and Gatorade. Included amenities listed are a technical t-shirt in male and female cuts, a die-cast medal with full-color ribbon, live tracking and streaming, and finisher pictures and video. Personalized bibs are available for those who register at least four weeks before the race; later registrants receive a commemorative bib.
