26th Annual Brooklet Peanut 5K
The 26th Annual Brooklet Peanut 5K takes place on August 15, 2026 at Brooklet Elementary School, 600 West Lane Street, Brooklet, GA 30415. The event is hosted by the Southeast Bulloch High School cross country team as a fundraiser to assist with travel costs, uniforms, equipment, and team supplies.
The event features a single 5K run/walk through the streets of Brooklet. The course is described as flat and fast, will be well marked, and will be guided by a lead bicycler. Course certification from prior years expired in 2014 and re-certification is not guaranteed by the race date. Timing is managed by race bib number and participants must wear their assigned bib on the front and visible at all times.
Registration fees begin at $25 for early entry and increase in July and again in August up to $35; entries submitted after early August are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Online registration opens in May. Last chance registration and race packet pickup are available on Friday evening and the morning of the race in front of Brooklet Elementary School; a registration fee of $35 applies at those times.
