Bronte Way Fell Race
The Bronte Way Fell Race is a traditional point to point fell race held in late October. The course covers 12 km / 7.5 miles with a total climb of 351 m. The event is organised by Keighley & Craven AC and is staged from Wycoller, with the race finishing outside the Fleece on Haworth Main Street.
Registration takes place at the Aisled Barn in Wycoller. There is no on the day entry; entries close on 20 October and substitutions must be made by editing the entry on the event entry system. Entry fees are listed separately for FRA members and non members.
Support arrangements include shuttle buses running relays from Haworth Primary School to Atom Panopticon with a limited number of spaces available on a first come first served basis, and a vehicle will be provided at the finish for bag drop. Ponden Water, at roughly 4.6 miles, is a staffed checkpoint; runners who do not reach it in the required time will be asked to stop and arrangements will be made to collect them.
This is a BM race in late October and FRA mandatory kit is required. There is no formal kit check but obvious lack of required kit may lead to sanctioning. Prize giving and spot prizes take place after the finish, and soup will be available for finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
