Event overview

The Bronte Way Fell Race is a traditional point-to-point fell race on Sunday 26 October 2025. The race starts at Aisled Barn, Wycoller (BB8 8SY) and finishes outside the Fleece Inn on Haworth Main Street. The route length is 8.1 miles with a total climb of 351 m / 1152 ft. The race is organised by Keighley & Craven Athletics Club and is categorised as BM.

Entry, logistics and rules

Pre-entry is required via SI Entries; there is no entry on the day. Entries open 22 September 2025 and close 20 October 2025. Minimum age on the day is 18. Entry fees are listed for FRA members and non-members. Shuttle buses will run relays from near Haworth Primary School to Atom Panopticon to assist access to the start; spaces are limited. A vehicle will be available to drop bags at the Fleece Inn. Ponden Water (4.6 miles) is a course checkpoint with a cut-off; runners who do not meet the cut-off will be asked to stop and will be picked up. FRA mandatory kit is required for this BM race; there will be no formal kit check but lack of required kit may lead to sanction. Prize giving and spot prizes will follow completion, and soup will be available at the finish.
