Bromsgrove Blood Cancer UK Run
The Bromsgrove Blood Cancer UK Run is a charitable sporting event held in memory of Marc Harris. The event is based at Bromsgrove Rugby Club, located at Finstall Park. All proceeds from the participation fees and fundraising efforts go toward supporting research into blood cancer.
Participants can choose between two different running distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km (The actual distance for this route is recorded as just under 6 km)
The event capacity is limited to 500 entrants. Age restrictions apply for the different categories; participants must be over 15 years old to enter the 10 km run, while children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult during the 5 km run.
The course is described as containing a climb. Every individual who completes their distance will receive a finisher's medal. Additionally, prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers in each event. While there is no mandatory fundraising minimum, participants who raise a specific amount prior to the event date receive a running t-shirt.
Registration is available online, with limited entry available on the day if the capacity has not been reached. The venue is situated in Bromsgrove at Finstall Park, and the event is supported by local regional sponsors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
