British Masters 5 km Road Championships 2026
The British Masters 5 km Road Championships take place at Battersea Park, Battersea Park Road, London. The event is for masters athletes aged 35 and over and is organised and managed by Veterans AC with BMAF acting as agent.
The competition is held on a traffic free, flat circular tarmac course. Race headquarters are at the Bandstand. Changing and shower facilities are available at the Millennium Arena Stadium; a charge would normally apply but the BMAF has agreed to cover the cost for entrants who use them. Refreshments and the medals presentation are at the Pear Tree cafe.
There will be two races to reduce congestion and allow more entrants: one for men aged 35 to 64 and one for all women aged 35 and over together with men aged 65 and over. Entries are limited to 250 in each race. A current UKA registration is required; overseas visitors without UKA registration should enter their national team code. Entry fees are £21 for BMAF Area Club members and £26 for other entrants. The closing date for entries is 22 November or earlier if full.
Medals will be awarded to the first three finishers in each five year age category from 35 to 100 plus. A team competition scores three to count for First Claim UKA clubs with medals for top teams in ten year age bands when conditions are met. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
