British Masters 5 km Road Championships
The British Masters 5 km Road Championships take place on 29 November 2026 at Battersea Park, London. The event is for masters athletes aged 35 and over and is organised and managed by Veterans AC, with the British Masters Athletics Federation acting as agent.
The course is a traffic-free, flat circular tarmac route within Battersea Park. Race headquarters are at the Bandstand. There will be two races to reduce congestion and allow more entrants, with an entry limit of 250 runners in each race.
Entry fees are listed as £21 for BMAF Area Club members and £26 for other entrants. A current UKA registration is required; overseas visitors without UKA registration should enter their national team code. The closing date for entries is 22 November (23.59) or earlier if races reach capacity. All events are shown as sold out and the organiser manages a waiting list for places.
Changing and shower facilities are at the Millennium Arena Stadium; a charge is made for these facilities and the BMAF has agreed to pay for entrants who use them. Refreshments and the medals presentation will be at the Pear Tree cafe. Medals are awarded to the first three finishers in each five-year age category from 35 to 100+. A team competition is held for first-claim UKA clubs, three to score, with medals for top teams in ten-year age bands where enough teams finish.
