BrighTEN Seafront Run : Brighton, East Sussex
The BrighTEN Seafront Run takes place on 17 January 2027 along the Brighton seafront, starting at Hove Lawns, Kingsway, Brighton and Hove BN3 2WN. The event offers two measured distances with modest elevation gain and a mostly flat, flowing off-road surface.
- 10 mile seafront run, approximately 82 m elevation gain.
- 10.1 km seafront run, approximately 60 m elevation gain.
The route passes several local landmarks including Brighton Pier, the historical Burnt Down Pier, the i360 Tower and Hove Promenade. Course signage uses pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. Water stations and on-course refreshments are provided and first aid cover is available along the course.
Entries include chip timing, a high-quality metal finishers medal, a finisher goodie and a refreshing drink, and a personalised certificate. Runners collect bib numbers on arrival at registration and the event operates a plastic free policy, so participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle.
