About the race
The Perron Institute Bridges Fun Run is organised by the West Australian Marathon Club at Barrack Square, Perth on 4 April 2027. The event offers three distances and is open to non-members.
Distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 300 m Kids Dash
Online registrations close at 12:00 noon on the Thursday prior to the event; there are no late entries for this event. Entry fees vary by distance and membership status, with free entry for the 300 m Kids Dash and paid options for the 5 km and 10 km. Bib collection is not available on event day; someone may collect a participant's bib on their behalf. Participants from outside the Perth metro area can arrange to collect bibs on the morning of the event by prior arrangement with the organiser.
All registered participants will have electronic timing recorded by Bluechip Timing using disposable timing chips attached to race bibs. Finishers in the 5 km and 10 km will receive finisher medals as they cross the line; every Kids Dash participant will receive a Kids Dash medal. Presentations, including awards for overall and under-16 placings in each distance, will take place near the bell tower. Wave starts require participants to self-seed into placarded categories.
