Bridge of the Gods Run 2026
The event takes place in Cascade Locks, Oregon, and includes a Twilight 5K held the night before the main races, concluding with a large post-race party on Thunder Island featuring a beer garden, music and an expo.
The primary route begins on the Washington side of the Columbia River and crosses the Bridge of the Gods. From the bridge the course links with the Historic Columbia River Highway State Park Trail and heads west into the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The route passes under a shaded canopy of old growth forest and crosses four bridges and creeks, which provide cooler running conditions during hot weather.
The half marathon out-and-back turns around near Moffett Creek, west of the newest section of the Old Highway Trail. Runners return to Cascade Locks, run briefly through town, then pass Marine Park and the Sternwheeler before crossing the bridge over the historic locks to finish on Thunder Island.
