Bridge of the Gods Run - Cascade Locks, Oregon
The Bridge of the Gods Run is a multi-event running festival held over a weekend in Cascade Locks, Oregon on August 1–2, 2026. The program includes road and trail races alongside the Thunder Island Music Festival and on-site food trucks and a beer garden.
Event distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- Twilight 5K
- Kids' Community 1K
Both the half marathon and the 10K start on the Washington side of the Columbia River near the Bridge of the Gods and include river views and sections that cross into Oregon. The 10K is an out-and-back course with aid stations approximately every 1 to 1.5 miles. All courses have well-stocked aid stations and port-a-potties.
The weekend schedule pairs competitive runs with community activities. The Kids' Community 1K is free for children 12 and under with registration handled at packet pickup. The Twilight 5K finishes while the music festival is active, creating a combined race and festival atmosphere. Post-race amenities include a catered lunch, a custom finisher's medal for every runner, and a short-sleeve event shirt available in men's and women's sizes.
