Bridge of the Gods Run 2026

The Bridge of the Gods Run is a multi-day running event in Cascade Locks, OR held August 1-2, 2026. The program includes a Twilight 5K the night before and distances for a half marathon and a 10K. Online registration reached capacity and is listed as closed for this year.

Course details begin on the Washington side of the Columbia River with runners crossing the Bridge of the Gods. The route connects to the Historic Columbia River Highway State Park Trail and heads west into the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Participants cross four bridges and creek crossings and run under a shaded canopy of old growth forest. The half marathon turnaround is at Moffett Creek, west of the newest section of the Old Hwy Trail. Runners return to Cascade Locks, pass through Marine Park near the Sternwheeler, cross the bridge over the historic locks, and finish on Thunder Island. At the finish there is a beer garden, music, and an expo on Thunder Island.
