Event overview
The Bridge of the Gods weekend takes place in Cascade Locks, Oregon on August 1-2, 2026. The festival-style event includes multiple runs over two days and features runs that start on the Washington side of the Columbia River, with routes that offer direct views of the river and surrounding gorge. Race details and amenities
The 10K is an out-and-back course and has aid stations approximately every 1 to 1.5 miles. All courses have well-stocked aid stations and port-a-potties. Walkers are welcome in the half marathon, which has a five-hour cutoff. Post-race amenities include a catered lunch, a custom finisher's medal for every runner, and a short-sleeve shirt available in men's and women's sizes. The weekend also features a music festival with food trucks and a beer garden adjacent to festival activities. Organizers reported high demand in prior years and expect strong registration for 2026.
