Bridge 4 Hope 4K & 8K
Bridge 4 Hope is a community run-walk to celebrate hope, honor people affected by cancer, and support efforts toward a future without cancer. The event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at the Pat E Brown Memorial Bridge in Erwin.
Distances
- 4K: A 4-kilometer run/walk along Main Street to the bridge, open to participants of all ages and abilities, with a finishers medal.
- 8K: An 8-kilometer route that includes Main Street, the bridge, additional streets in Erwin, and a run through Gentry Stadium; finishers medals and prizes for top runners.
There is a 90-minute time limit for course access. After 90 minutes, streets will reopen and participants still on the course will be directed to use sidewalks and to exercise extra caution to complete the route. Rides to the bridge may be available on request.
Every registration and every mile are presented as support for people in the local community whose lives have been touched by cancer. Sponsorship opportunities are listed for organizations that wish to support the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
