The Brian Diemer Family of Races takes place in Grand Rapids at Legacy Christian School and marks its 36th edition. The event programme includes multiple race options and community activities on and around the school grounds.

The in-person 5K is described as a flat, fast course and the organiser plans six live bands along the route. The Kid’s Run is staged on the Legacy Christian School soccer field with rolling starts in small waves; steeple jumps are optional and the event is suggested for children 10 and under. The event also includes a handcycle category and My Team Triumph participation.
Logistics noted by the organiser include packet pickup scheduled on the Friday and Saturday before the race at Legacy Christian School, and a t-shirt order deadline of May 26; registrants after that date are not guaranteed shirts. Awards use gun time for prize money placements; age-group awards go to the top four in each group, with prize-money winners removed from age-group awards. Prize purses are specified for open, masters, grand masters, and handcycle categories and will be mailed later; winners must provide photo ID and complete tax forms.
