Brian Diemer Family of Races : June 2026
The Brian Diemer Family of Races is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Legacy Christian School (67 68th St SW) in Grand Rapids. The event is the 36th running and includes in-person and virtual options. The course is described by the organizer as a flat 5K route. Six live bands will perform along the course. The program includes a kids steeplechase on the school soccer field with a rolling, wave start and steeple jumps listed as optional; that event is suggested for children 10 and under.

Packet pickup and late registration are offered the day before the race at Legacy Christian School and on race day at the soccer field. T-shirt orders are placed May 26; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt or preferred size. Age-group awards are given to the top four in each age group, with prize money winners removed from age-group awards. Prize money is offered across Open, Masters (40+), and Grand Masters (50+) divisions, and for handcycle open places; prize placements are based on gun time. Athletes awarded prize money must provide valid ID and tax forms; prize payments will be mailed. Athletes who earn prize money will have names shared with USADA, WADA, and/or USATF for verification.
