Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 14K/7K Brewery Run - Race Overview
The Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 14K/7K Brewery Run is part of the TQL Beer Series and serves as the opening race for Oktoberfest Cincinnati, described as the largest Oktoberfest celebration outside of Munich. Both distances start and finish along Cincinnati’s riverfront and pass many historic brewery sites. The course follows routes once used by horse-drawn carts to move beer from the breweries to riverboats.
The event offers two distances:
- 14K (8.7 mi / 14.00 km)
- 7K
Registered participants receive a race shirt, commemorative pint glass, and a poster at packet pick-up. All finishers receive a finisher’s medal that doubles as a bottle opener. In-person race bibs include two drink tickets and a Skyline Cheese Coney voucher redeemable only at the 14K/7K post-race party. The post-race party is free and open to the public and features beer, music, and snacks.
There will be a new staggered start for the two distances. Detailed course maps and turn-by-turn directions are provided for both the 14K and the 7K, including specific route turns and bridge crossings.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance by gun time. Age group awards for men and women use chip time and cover multiple age brackets; overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. A virtual 14K/7K participation option is available.
