Event
Santa's 5K Fun Run takes place on December 6, 2025 in Independence, KY (ZIP 41051). The event is the 10th annual running of this 5K. The course begins and ends at Independence Fire Station #1 on Delaware Crossing and proceeds on the southbound lane of Old Madison with a turnaround between Aristocrat and the Post Office. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in multiple age groups for both runners and walkers. Registrations include a T-shirt, a Santa hat, and a goodie bag. Participants are encouraged to wear seasonal items such as a Santa suit or antlers.
Registration and logistics
Pre-registration cost is $25 plus the 6% Kentucky sales tax; the price increases after December 5, 2025. Participant numbers are limited to 300 and registration is online only. Shirt size is not guaranteed unless registration is completed prior to November 15. Packet pickup is scheduled for December 5 at Tri-State Running Co, 148 Barnwood Dr, Edgewood, KY 41017, between 10:00 and 18:00.
