Event overview
The Brew Run takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in New London, CT. The event program includes a 5K race and a 1 mile kids run called the Root Beer Run. Location: Bank Street, downtown New London, CT 06320. Onsite registration and bib pickup are available before the races. The schedule places the kids 1 mile run before the 5K, and an award ceremony is held after the 5K at 123 Bank Street. Maps are provided for both the 5K and the 1 mile course.
Fees and awards
Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K (reduced to $20 for ages 0-15) and $20 for the 1 mile kids run. There is a $10 discount for ages 15 and under on the 5K. T-shirts are free for participants registered by April 10, 2026. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in these age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
