The Brew Run offers two events:

Brew Run 5K
Root Beer Run - 1 Mile Kids Run

Course Details

The 5K course is flat and takes place on downtown Bank Street in New London. The route starts and ends on Bank Street.

Registration & Fees

The standard fee for the 5K is $30, while the 1-mile kids run costs $20. Participants aged 15 and under receive a $10 discount on the 5K registration fee. Prices increase after May 1, 2026.

T-shirts are included free of charge for all participants registered by April 10, 2026. On-site registration and bib pick-up are available.

Awards

Awards are presented for the top three male and female finishers overall. Additional awards are given for age categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. An award ceremony is held at 123 Bank Street.

Charity & Organizer

The event is presented by the New London Recreation Department. All donations and proceeds from the race support scholarships for New London Recreation programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
