About the race
Brew Dash is a trail running event held on the Whitewater trails in Charlotte, NC. The event offers three distances on marked trails with recorded ascent values.
- 6K (ascent +240 ft)
- 12K (ascent +533 ft)
- Half Marathon (ascent +987 ft)
Registration options include pre-registration and day-of registration with different fees by distance, and registration is non-refundable. Race shirts are guaranteed for those who pre-register by June 6, 2027. Finisher medals for the half marathon are awarded to runners who register on or before May 2, 2027. Packet pick-up is scheduled the evening before at the South Conference Center and day-of packet pick-up opens on race morning.
Participants must sign the Whitewater Center Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating; the waiver can be printed and brought to packet pick-up or completed on site. Trails remain open to other users during the event, so runners should communicate when passing and note that e-bikes and other powered transportation are not permitted. Events are planned to proceed rain or shine, but the Whitewater Center may alter, reschedule, or cancel events. For emergencies participants should call 911.
Aid stations provide hydration at South Main and East Main, and hydration plus food at Academy. The event includes one 16 oz beer or four 4 oz samples for participants aged 21 and over with valid ID. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers by age group across each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
