The Brevard Corporate 5K is the 15th annual edition of this corporate-focused run/walk event. It takes place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport in Melbourne, Florida. The event describes itself as the largest outdoor office party in Brevard County, aiming to promote health and fitness in the local corporate community.
Event Details
The event is a 5K run/walk. The course is located on an active airfield runway. There is a post-race party with a live band. Complimentary beer and food are provided. All participants receive a t-shirt and a finisher's medal.
Awards
Awards are given in several categories:
- Fastest Overall Male & Female.
- Fastest Overall Male CEO & Female CEO (the highest-ranking local official from a company).
- Fastest Teams by company size (1st, 2nd, 3rd place).
- Largest Company Participation by company size.
Company size categories are: less than 50 employees, 50-99, 100-999, 1,000-4,999, and 5,000+ employees.
Important Notes
Due to airport security regulations, no one without a race bib is permitted on the runway. The only exception is babies or toddlers who remain in a stroller for the entire race. Dogs are not allowed on the active airfield course.
Registration and Logistics
The standard registration price is $35, with an increase to $40 after March 31, 2026. Registration closes on April 3, 2026. Team captains have specific responsibilities and a meeting is scheduled for March 25 at Running Zone. Packet pickup for teams is available on April 7th and 8th.
