Breezy Point 5K - 18th Annual
The Breezy Point 5K is a community event held on July 4, 2026 at Island Lake in Duluth, Minnesota. The event benefits MN Adult & Teen Challenge Duluth Campus and includes both an in-person and a virtual 5K option.
The event is free to enter and welcomes running, walking and biking for all ages. Shirts are provided for participants ages 13 and older; pre registration by June 13 is recommended to guarantee shirt size. Registration opens April 1 and closes July 4. Each participant, including children, must be registered. Groups and families are asked to designate a team name so t shirts and bibs can be grouped for a single pickup.
On-site registration is available on race day but shirts are not guaranteed. Pre registered participants pick up bibs and shirts at the race site. Shirt pickup for virtual participants will take place at Storage King in Duluth prior to the event.
The route uses partial hard packed gravel and blacktopped surfaces. Strollers are welcome and pets are not allowed. Portable toilets will be on site and water will be provided before, during and after the event. Parking is available at the race start and carpooling is recommended. Donations are accepted and proceeds go to MN Adult & Teen Challenge in Duluth. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
