Marshals are positioned along the route and there may be unmarshalled road crossings. Large over-ear headphones are banned; bone-conducting headphones or single in-ear use are allowed where needed.
Logistics and entry
Parking is provided in a pub field for a £5 charge payable to the pub; car sharing is recommended. The races are licensed by the Trail Running Association. Entry fees range from £16 to £42. Finishers receive a bespoke Solstice medal and post-race cake and other goodies. Transfers and deferrals can be self-served online up to 48 hours before the event.
