Event Details
The Brecksville Home Days Run is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Brecksville Community Center, 1 Community Drive, Brecksville, Ohio. The event includes two distances: a 5K run and a 1 mile walk.
Registration and Entry
The event has tiered pricing for registration. The cost for the 1 mile walk is $15 with pre-registration. The cost for the chip-timed 5K run is $20 with pre-registration. Race day registration for either event costs $25. Registration opens on March 5, 2026.
Included Amenities and Awards
Participants in the timed 5K receive a race bib with chip timing and live results. The untimed 1 mile walk includes a novelty race bib. All participants receive a Brecksville Home Days T-shirt, subject to size availability after June 16. Post-race snacks and refreshments are provided.
An awards ceremony is held inside a pavilion. For the 5K, awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in numerous age categories. A family award is also presented for the top three families based on combined scores.
Beneficiaries
All proceeds from the event benefit three organizations: Run For Your Life, the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Organization, and Kick It for Children's Cancer, supporting youth programs and cancer research. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
