Breckland 10k
The Breckland 10km is a club organised road race held in and around the village of Croxton near Thetford. The course runs on gently undulating country lanes and is marshalled and clearly signed. There is a one hour thirty minute cutoff and the minimum age for entry is 15.
On-course support includes a water station at the halfway point, a water station at the finish and a sponge station at approximately 8 km. The race takes place on open country roads; runners must follow marshal instructions and comply with safety guidance. Headphones and similar devices are not permitted on shared usage courses unless medically prescribed. Bone conductor headphones are accepted provided the runner can still hear marshal instructions and traffic.
Prizes include medals for all finishers, awards for the first three male and female finishers, and age category prizes for male and female in junior, 18-39, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 and 75+ categories. Prize giving is scheduled for 12:15pm. Facilities at race headquarters include club-run refreshments, toilets at the village hall with additional portaloos, designated parking a short walk from race HQ and an unattended bag drop. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another runner are permitted until 25/04/2026. Race licence 30252. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
