Breckland 10k
The Breckland 10 km is the signature race for Thetford Athletics and serves as a participating event in the Sportlink Grand Prix series. The route is located in and around the village of Croxton, near Thetford. Participants run along gently undulating country lanes that remain open to traffic during the event.
The course features clear signage and is supported by marshals throughout. Support stations are positioned at the halfway mark (approximately 5-6 km) and the finish line. An additional sponge station is located at the 8 km point. The event has a strictly enforced time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Safety regulations require participants to remain aware of traffic at all times. In accordance with UK Athletic rules for open road courses, standard headphones are not permitted. Bone conductor headphones are allowed provided the runner can hear marshal instructions and surrounding noise.
Event facilities include a race headquarters with an unattended bag drop area and a cafe serving refreshments. Toilets and portaloos are available at the village hall. Designated parking is situated a two minute walk from the race headquarters. All participants receive a medal upon completion, with additional prizes awarded to the top three male and female finishers across various age categories ranging from juniors to 75+.
