Breathe Strong 5K

The Breathe Strong 5K is a walking and running event held in Columbus, Ohio. The course is situated on Annie and John Glenn Avenue at The Ohio State University. This event serves as a fundraiser to support those affected by lung cancer through research and community support resources.

The event provides information regarding lung cancer risks, warning signs, and screening options. All proceeds from the race are donated to the Blue Beautiful Skies Fund for Lung Cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - The James. These funds support the development of medical breakthroughs and provide resources for family support groups.

Registered participants receive an event T-shirt, which is provided through the Mary Ann Kirkby Living with Lung Cancer Fund. Selection of specific shirt sizes is guaranteed for those who register by March 8, 2026. Registrations completed after this date receive shirts based on remaining availability.
