Breath of Life 5K
Breath of Life 5K is a fundraising event presented by Trach Families to benefit tracheostomy families in southeast Tennessee. The event is scheduled for May 22, 2027 at The Fry Center, 4301 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga TN 37406. Funds raised will support local trach and vent dependent families through hospital support, education, community engagement, and advocacy.
The event program includes multiple options and activities:
- 5K - 3.1 Miles
- Trach Angels Memorial Mile - 1 Mile
- Virtual 5K - 3.2 Miles
- Kid's Zone activities available
- Sponsor a Trach Family option
Race entries include a t shirt, a post race gift, and snacks. The virtual 5K asks registrants to specify T shirt pick up or delivery. A Sponsor a Trach Family option is listed with a registration fee. Kid's Zone features face painting, sensory games, bubbles, an inflatable, and crafts. The organizer notes different Kid's Zone pricing depending on whether a child is also registered to race.
