Purpose and details
Proceeds benefit tracheostomy families in the southeast Tennessee region. Funds will support local trach and vent dependent families. Each entry includes a t-shirt, a post-race gift, and snacks. Walk-up registrations and packet pickup are available on race morning.
A new Kids Zone will operate during the event and offers face painting, sensory games, bubbles, an inflatable, and crafts. Kids Zone pricing is $10; if an adult is racing, the cost for their child is $5; child participants who are racing may use Kids Zone for free.
The event is organized by Chattanooga Tracheostomy Families, a support group that recently became a non-profit. The group offers hospital support, education, community engagement, and advocacy for families of children with tracheostomies and reports about 50 members.
