Breakside Brewery 5K Beer Run
This in-person event on October 3, 2026 takes place at Breakside Brewery - NW Slabtown in Portland, OR. The organizer is the Oregon Brewery Running Series, which runs a series of brewery 5K events and donates a portion of proceeds to local nonprofits.
The event features a mapped 5K course that starts and ends at the Breakside taproom in NW Slabtown. Participants may run, walk, or jog the course. Before the run there is check-in and a group warmup with photos; the schedule also includes time for participants to browse merchandise and visit sponsors.
All participants receive one craft brew at the finish line and a collector's seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. There is also a chance to win prizes such as event merchandise or beer to take home. The event donates 10% of proceeds from this race to Oregon Wild and contributes to the organizer's wider fundraising, which has raised over $500,000 to date.
