Event Overview
The Breaking Barriers 5k Run/Walk takes place on April 4, 2026. It is the second annual edition of this event. The start and finish location is Lake Eva Park on Ledwith Avenue in Haines City, Florida. The course goes around the lake near the park.

Participant Perks & Awards
Participants who register before March 27, 2026, receive a custom t-shirt. All finishers receive a finisher's medal.
Trophies are awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers. Age group awards are given to the top male and female in categories from 10 and under to 70+. There is also a largest group award.
Beneficiary
The event proceeds benefit the Puzzle’s Love Autism Foundation. The foundation's mission is to support individuals with autism and unique abilities, and their families, through resources, education, and an inclusive community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
