Break Free 5/10k Run & Walk 2026

The program includes a race village with family activities, a colour blast station moved to the village, DJ music, water spray stations along the route, and a group warm up. The event is dog friendly with expectations that dogs remain on leash, owners bring water and waste bags, and only socialized dogs attend.
Race kits are handed out at on-site check-in on race day and include admission, a white race shirt, race bib, participant ribbons, and winning medals. Parking in designated park areas is free on a first come first serve basis. Registrations are non-refundable and the event runs rain or shine.
Funds raised support services for people affected by domestic violence, including Jessie's House (a 35-bed all-gender emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis line, and a child care program) and Eileen's Place.
