Brattleboro Retreat 5K for Suicide Awareness
The Move Forward Together 5K for Suicide Awareness is a timed walk and run held during Suicide Awareness Month. The event honors people lost to suicide, provides hope to those who are struggling, and connects the community with resources related to suicide awareness.
The course begins and ends at the Brattleboro Retreat and follows a scenic out and back route along Route 30. The event welcomes children and strollers; children under 12 participate free of charge. For the safety and comfort of all participants, pets are not permitted except for service animals.
Registration opens June 24, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00. Same-day registration is allowed and is handled at an on-site registration table.
Proceeds from the event support enhancements to patient care and the patient experience at the Brattleboro Retreat, including program development, staff training, patient financial assistance, and campus improvements. The event lists Brattleboro Subaru as the lead sponsor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
