The Brain Injury Awareness event is the 10th Annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Walk presented by Ohio State's Chronic Brain Injury Program and hosted by the undergraduate organization Buckeyes Raising Awareness in Neuroscience (BRAIN). The in-person event takes place at the RPAC North Plaza, near The Buckeye Bike Hub at 337 Annie and John Glenn Ave, Columbus, OH 43201. Registration price is $30 for each event; the price increases after January 28, 2026.

Purpose and past beneficiaries
Proceeds support brain injury survivors and related programs. The event benefits the NeuroNights program, a joint initiative involving The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The Ohio State University Chronic Brain Injury Program, and BRAIN. Prior race proceeds included a $500 scholarship awarded to a Mark Minister Award recipient, a $500 donation to the Healthy Minds program at the Brain Injury Association of Ohio, and a $4,500 contribution to fund a Brain Injury Community Day.
