All proceeds benefit brain injury survivors and support the NeuroNights program, a joint initiative involving The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, the Chronic Brain Injury Program, and BRAIN to provide communal and wellness support. Past distributions of race proceeds included a $500 scholarship, a $500 donation to the Healthy Minds program at the Brain Injury Association of Ohio, and a $4,500 contribution to a Brain Injury Community Day. Organizers have also indicated plans for a Brain Injury Awareness Gala and a Brain Injury Awareness Retreat.
