Brain Injury Awareness 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Walk
The event is the 10th annual Brain Injury Awareness 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Walk, presented by Ohio State's Chronic Brain Injury Program and hosted by the undergraduate organization Buckeyes Raising Awareness in Neuroscience (BRAIN). It takes place in Columbus, OH at the RPAC North Plaza, near The Buckeye Bike Hub at 337 Annie and John Glenn Ave. Both distance options are offered in person.

Entry fee for each event is $30. The registration fee increases after January 31, 2026.
Purpose and recent use of proceeds
Proceeds benefit brain injury survivors and support the NeuroNights program, a joint initiative of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, the Chronic Brain Injury program, and BRAIN that provides communal and wellness support for survivors. Previous race proceeds included a $500 scholarship, a $500 donation to the Healthy Minds program at the Brain Injury Association of Ohio, and a $4,500 contribution to fund a Brain Injury Community Day.
