Brain Bolt 5K : Maryland Heights
The Brain Bolt 5K is scheduled for April 12, 2026 at Creve Coeur Lake Park in Maryland Heights, MO. The event is organized in support of the Dura Mater Clubhouse; proceeds from the 5k benefit the Clubhouse's programs that promote independence, personal growth, work readiness, and community participation for members.
Events offered include short and longer distances for runners and walkers of different ages. The course follows an out-and-back route on the paved bike path beside the lake and is described as flat. The park and bike path remain open to the public during the event; participants should stay to the right when not passing and be alert for other park users, including cyclists.
Packet pick up is available before race day at Big River Running Company in Manchester Road and there is packet pick up on the day of the event. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the following age group categories: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
