Bradleys Sidmouth 10km
The Sidmouth 10K is a chip timed road and hard footpath race organised by LMEvents on 01 November 2026. The course starts at Sidford Social Hall, runs the full length of The Byes alongside the river, then enters a Hilly Loop that includes Hillside, Beatlands and Cliff Road before reaching the Sidmouth seafront. Runners follow the promenade and then retrace their route, including a second ascent and descent of the Hilly Loop, returning along The Byes to Sidford Social Hall.
The route uses public footpaths and roads; participants share the surfaces with other foot and bicycle users and warning signs will be in place. The event includes an optional finisher medal; a No Medal entry is offered to reduce waste and is slightly cheaper. Entry fees range from £21 to £24. Recent races have sold out for several consecutive editions and on the day entries may be permitted if space allows.
Trophies are awarded for overall 1st to 3rd in male and female categories and for age category winners. Reviews from previous editions note consistent marshalling and clear route signage, frequent spectator vantage points along riverside and seafront sections, and a route character that combines mostly flat sections with a notable mid course hill that is tackled twice.
