Event overview
Bradleys Exmouth 5km & 10km - Autumn is a road running event organised by LMEvents on Exmouth Seafront at Sideshore. The event offers two distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The races are officially measured and described as flat and tarmacked. Entries are available with or without a medal; the no-medal option is a lower-priced category. Entry fees range from £11.00 to £22.00. The event is open to entrants aged 15 and over on the event date. Bradleys Estate Agents sponsor the race and provide on-the-day support.
Course and race details
Both spring and autumn races use the same route so times can be compared between events. The route runs along hard-surfaced footpaths on the seafront. Runners head up to Orcombe Point, loop around a flag pole, run the length of the beachfront, then return to the seafront path to either finish (5 km) or complete a second lap (10 km). The finish area is in front of the Sideshore complex. The 10 km course has Measurement Certificate No. 22/387. The race is chip timed, fully marked with fluorescent arrows, and marshalled. Warnings will be placed for other footpath users and cyclists. Trophies are awarded in male and female categories for overall places and age groups 15-39, 40-54, 55-69, and 70+.
